“Congratulations to Tobias Read on his victory in tonight’s Democratic primary in Oregon. In Tobias, Oregonians will have a Secretary of State who leads with transparency, effectiveness, and integrity. He will ensure that audits are run professionally, and that the Secretary’s office will continue to stand up to any intimidation or threats at the ballot box. Tobias believes that the strength of our democracy rests in our ability to hold free and fair elections, and he will ensure that Oregonians feel confident that their voices are not only heard, but they are valued.
