Tar Heel Values PAC Launches Two Ads on Hal Weatherman’s Extreme View on Abortion
WASHINGTON, DC – Tar Heel Values PAC released two ads yesterday laying out the truth about Republican Lt. Governor nominee Hal Weatherman’s extreme views on abortion. The ad ties Weatherman’s position on banning abortion with those of fellow Republican and Gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson.
The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association (DLGA) is proud to support the Tar Heel Values PAC with a $1 million investment, the biggest general election investment in the North Carolina lieutenant governor’s race to date.
“There is no daylight between Hal Weatherman and Mark Robinson when it comes to their extreme views on abortion,” said Roshan Patel, a Senior Advisor to Tar Heel Values PAC. “They want to end a woman’s right to choose – banning abortion, no exceptions. This position is disqualifying, dangerous to women and North Carolinians cannot afford to have a far right extremist like Hal Weatherman in office.”
The ads, HERE and HERE, are targeting likely voters in North Carolina on platforms such as Hulu, ESPN, YouTube and other top performing streaming networks.
