Collier wins the Democratic Nomination for Lt. Governor
WASHINGTON — The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association released the following statement regarding Primary Night in Texas.
“The DLGA congratulates Mike Collier on winning the Democratic Nomination for Lt. Governor in Texas. Mike will bring all Texans together and build a better Texas for everyone. Mike will make sure our public schools have adequate funding and that the electric grid will actually work. These are serious times and we need serious people in charge,” said DLGA Chair Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long of Delaware.
DLGA Executive Director Roshan Patel added, “We are very excited about Mike’s nomination and are looking forward to working with him as we head into the General Election. Republicans can’t even keep the lights on in Texas. Mike will be ready to bring fresh ideas to make Texas work for everyone.”
