DLGA statement on primary night in New Mexico

Morales Wins Democratic Nomination

WASHINGTON — The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association released the following statement regarding Primary Night in New Mexico.

“The DLGA congratulates Lt. Governor Howie Morales on securing the nomination for Lt. Governor and joining Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham on the Democratic ticket this November. The Lujan Grisham / Morales Administration continues to deliver for the people of New Mexico and we’re excited to support this ticket in November,” said DLGA Chair Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long of Delaware.

DLGA Executive Director Roshan Patel added, “Lt. Governor Morales is putting the people of New Mexico first and is leading on jobs, healthcare, and education. New Mexico needs four more years of the Lujan Grisham / Morales Administration and we’re lucky to be a part of that effort.”

The DLGA is an independent voluntary political organization that provides resources and policy assistance to candidates in their campaigns for Lieutenant Governor. The DLGA is proud to support current Democratic Lieutenant Governors in 21 states and 3 U.S. territories.
