DLGA statement on primary night in Arkansas

Kelly Krout wins the Democratic Nomination for Lt. Governor

WASHINGTON — The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association released the following statement regarding Primary Night in Arkansas.

“The DLGA congratulates Kelly Krout on winning the Democratic Nomination for Lt. Governor in Arkansas. Kelly will bring fresh, new ideas to Arkansas to help improve and lift everyone up in the Natural State,” said DLGA Chair Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long of Delaware.

DLGA Executive Director Roshan Patel added, “Kelly has looked out for others all her life, both personally as a foster parent and professionally as a social worker. She’s exactly what Little Rock needs instead of the same old tired policies that Republicans in Arkansas recycle year after year. Kelly is ready to get to work and we’re excited to be right there with her.”

The DLGA is an independent voluntary political organization that provides resources and policy assistance to candidates in their campaigns for Lieutenant Governor. The DLGA is proud to support current Democratic Lieutenant Governors in 21 states and 3 U.S. territories.
