DLGA backs John Fetterman for Senate
WASHINGTON — The Democratic Lieutenant Governors Association released the following statement regarding its endorsement of Lt. Governor John Fetterman in his primary campaign for US Senate in Pennsylvania.
“John Fetterman has been a strong, thoughtful voice for Pennsylvanians while serving as Lieutenant Governor. He is never afraid to use a unique and clear voice to speak truth to power and fight for what’s right, especially when it comes to climate justice, creating opportunity through legalizing cannabis, raising the minimum wage, and so much more. My colleagues and I are proud to offer the full support of the DLGA to Lt. Governor Fetterman’s U.S. Senate campaign, and we will do all we can to help him win,” said DLGA Chair and Michigan Lt. Governor Garlin Gilchrist II.
DLGA Executive Director Roshan Patel added, “We will have Lt. Governor Fetterman’s back all the way through next November and beyond. We are excited to support his campaign. He is exactly the kind of leader the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania needs in Washington to help deliver results.”
The DLGA is an independent voluntary political organization that provides resources and policy assistance to candidates in their campaigns for Lieutenant Governor. The DLGA is proud to support current Democratic Lieutenant Governors in 22 states and 3 U.S. territories.
